About the role
The Project Coordinator - Ministry Support owns the front door of MarComm. This role makes the support Run-of-Business process work—catching every request, routing it correctly, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks of the intake-to-delivery system.
Responsibilities
- Request Intake & Routing
- Own the request intake queue, every request, every day, no exceptions.
- Triage incoming work against the prioritization framework.
- Route complete requests to the right Project Manager; return incomplete requests to the partner.
- Flag pattern requests (duplicate, off-strategy, low-impact) to the Operations Director.
- Process Ownership
- Run the daily rhythm of the Ministry Support workflow.
- Maintain request logs, status snapshots, and weekly intake reporting.
- Monitor cycle times and flag bottlenecks.
- Cookordination tightly with the Campus Experience Specialist on partner communications.
- System Support & Continuous Improvement
- Keep the project management tool clean, current, and trusted.
- Support the Operations Director with reporting, dashboards, and audit preparation.
- Contribute to process documentation; teach the system to new partners and team members.
- Suggest one process improvement every month.
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of experience in project coordination, operations support, or administrative project work.
- Self-starter who takes ownership, solves problems independently, and brings solutions to leadership.
- Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced ministry environment with shifting priorities.
- Proactive contributor who generates ideas, takes initiative, and follows through with excellence.
- High standards for quality, organization, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using project management tools, spreadsheets, forms, and AI to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Strong written communicator who can turn ambiguous requests into clear, actionable plans.
- Service-oriented team player who works well with ministry partners.
- Passion for the local church and a desire to grow in ministry operations.
