About the role
PAR Electrical Contractors LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects. This role serves as a key link between project management, field operations, accounting, and clients to ensure projects run efficiently from initiation through closeout.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination
- Maintain project files, logs, and documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes)
- Track project schedules, deliverables, and deadlines
- Aid in contract review and ensure documentation compliance
- Assist with job cost tracking, purchase orders, and invoice processing
- Support change order preparation and tracking
- Monitor budgets and forecast updates
- Coverage with accounting to ensure accurate cost coding
- Coordinate with field staff onboarding and compliance requirements
- Support equipment and material deliveries
- Document and report project closeout
- Attend project meetings and distribute summaries
- Act as a liaison between operations, accounting, safety, and clients
- Support weekly and monthly reporting processes
- Ensure accurate and timely communication across project stakeholders
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Construction Management, or related field)
- 2–5 years of experience in construction project coordination or administration
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar platforms)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the metro area
Qualifications
- Experience in utility construction, electrical contracting, or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project closeout processes
- Knowledge of job cost tracking and basic construction financial principles
