PROJECT COORDINATOR

About the role

The Project Coordinator coordinates, develops, and implements various projects to improve the health and well-being of our community. The Project Coordinator also assists managers, physician leads and directors on projects.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development of project plans and implementation timelines to meet goals and deadlines
• Able to efficiently and effectively coordinate multiple projects at the same time
• Organizes and facilitates meetings and creates presentations to provide status updates
• Able to independently problem solve project issues
• Able to assess and report on project progress
• Performs research by gathering data from a variety of healthcare sources, including internal and external data/research
• Provides support for grant, budget, and regulatory reports
• Drafts project workflows and learns new project management tools as needed
• Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
• 2+ years in a Project Coordinator role preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
• Previous experience with Epic EHR system, SQL and other common analytic/data tools is a plus
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Investigative and able to thrive in a dynamic, problem-solving environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, able to build relationships and work with all levels of staff, including C-Suite
• Detailed oriented and thorough even while working on tight deadlines
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work
• Flexibility to shift focus and handle urgent tasks
• Team Oriented

Skills

• Language Ability to read and write English fluently is required.
• The ability to speak a second language is an asset.
