Project Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Systems Change Facilitator
• Respond to directives of the NYS Department of Justice.
• Ensure all work of the Youth Transformation Hub is in alignment with Department of Justice’s priorities.
• Organize several professional development opportunities to inform school personnel, personnel from recreation/sports centers, family members, and clergy.
• Oversee the peer mentoring program including assistance in recruiting mentors, creating procedures, schedules, and evaluation activities.
• Participate in regional planning in collaboration with the Department of Justice.
• Organize and implement evaluation procedures for all aspects of the project.
• Facilitate quarterly meetings with the advisory board (set agenda, record feedback, ensure feedback is integrated into the project).
• Provide staffing updates during the RLT monthly meetings and submit staffing change documents to the OSE mailbox.
• Work in concert with the project’s partners to ensure streamlining of resources, distribution of funds, and accountability reports.
• Conduct a needs assessment with identified community-based organizations to determine high need areas for the delivery of support.
• Prepare quarterly logs and expenditure reports within 30 days of the end of the quarter (September, December, March, and June).

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience

• Expertise in systems change using principles of implementation science
• Experience providing professional development and/or technical assistance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and computer literacy
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills that support interacting with families, school/agency personnel as well as NYS Department of Justice personnel

Education Requirements

Minimum of a Master’s degree
