Duties & Responsibilities
- Research and solicit new projects from conception to completion
- Perform quantity take offs on blueprints for small to large construction projects
- Research and analyze technical contract specifications
- Execute bid books
- Manage team goals, project schedules, and information flow
- Handle project-related paperwork, prepare proposals, memos, and emails
- Act as a liaison between company, contractors and clients
- Interact with clients to define project requirements and objectives
- Address questions, concerns or complaints regarding the project
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in project support or office admin preferred
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with clients and internal teams
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to evaluate problems and propose solutions
- Understanding of budget adherence and cost control
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, specifically Word and Excel
- Prioritization of tasks and delegation of responsibilities
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a team
Benefits
- Starting salary is around $50,000
- Pay is determined by experience, skill, education, and other factors
