Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as a key liaison between project managers, engineering, vendors, and customer sites to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
  • Assists Project Managers in developing and maintaining work plans for each phase of a project.
  • Supports procurement, logistics management, shipping status, and delivery tracking.
  • Tracks open issues, risks and action items.
  • Maintains project submittal documentation (drawings, RFIs, change logs, etc.)
  • Supports coordination of project personnel activities to help ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
  • Reviews status reports and supports updates to schedules or plans as required.
  • Prepares project reports for management, clients, or other stakeholders.
  • Captures and maintains project documentation.
  • Coordinates project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation of meeting notes and action items.

Qualifications

  • Education and/or Experience
    • 3 years project-related experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field or equivalent experience.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and tracking tools.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Critical Thinking Skills
      • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
      • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Language Skills
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
    • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
    • Ability to effectively present information to management, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; and risk of electrical shock.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Work Environment
    • This position is a hybrid work position in Louisville, KY.
