About the role

CORE is seeking an entry-level Construction Professional for the Boise, ID office to support mid- to large-scale commercial construction projects. The Project Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the field team and project management team while helping keep project documentation, files, and information accurate, current, and organized. The position will work closely with the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and other project team members across construction-phase activities and project closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and assist with submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
  • Assist with RFI documentation to the architect and manage distribution to trade partners.
  • Assist with subcontractor change orders and gather Full & Final Change Orders.
  • Record and maintain fully executed subcontracts.
  • Create and maintain project directories, project files, and related documentation.
  • Prepare and compile Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
  • Gather warranty letters and submit closeout letters to subcontractors, including warranty information.
  • Coordinate with field and project management teams to ensure project information remains current and organized.

Qualifications

  • Must possess the highest level of integrity and a positive attitude.
  • Relevant 3+ years’ work experience with a commercial construction, engineering, or architecture company is preferred.
  • Basic ability to read drawings and specifications.
  • Basic understanding of contracts.
  • Basic knowledge of scheduling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem solver who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Experience or basic understanding of industry software and applications such as Procore, Bluebeam, and DocuSign is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods is preferred.
  • Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service.
  • A valid Driver’s License.

This is an in-person position at our office in Boise, ID (NOT remote nor hybrid). This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the employee is not eligible for overtime compensation.
