Project Coordinator
Position Purpose
The Project Coordinator will primarily support a research study that will examine the transition into the workforce among young adults. The Project Coordinator will:
- largely help coordinate the activities related to research
- develop and oversee report preparation, grant reporting, and the NIAAA data archive
- supervise both undergraduate and masters-level research assistants
- support all other investigator research needs
Opportunities
Opportunities for authorship on peer-reviewed publications will be available as well as opportunities to present the research at national and international conferences.
Job Qualifications And Competencies
Education and Experience Required: BA or BS in psychology or related field with at least 3-5 years of experiences or equivalent combination of education and experience. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Experience in research design and experience with human subjects research
- Experience in programming online surveys (e.g., Qualtrics software)
- Experience managing or supervising others on different tasks
- Experience managing databases is preferred
- Experience in the fields of addiction and/or substance abuse is preferred
- Experience with SPSS software or R preferred
- Experience with Qualtrics preferred
- Flexibility in work schedule is preferable, including possible evening hours and weekends
- Personal transportation is preferred
- Experience with or interest in social media/marketing preferred
