About the role
We're looking for a Project Controls Specialist who can establish WBS, develop and maintain complex project schedules, coordinate with team members, develop and monitor project metrics, participate in project coordination meetings, conduct project site visits, conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews, develop cost estimates, and perform other duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Establish WBS, and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the project
- Coordinate with necessary team members
- Develop and monitor project metrics
- Participate in project coordination meetings
- Conduct project site visits if applicable
- Conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews
- Develop cost estimates
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects (or equivalent), preferably including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports
- Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PE, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- The capability to actively progress knowledge in the areas of:
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and leadership skills
- Coordination and prioritization of multiple long and short-term tasks
- Organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
