About the role
Jacobs is seeking an Intermediate Level Project Controls Professional to support the East Central region within the U.S. The role involves collecting and preparing data, monitoring project budgets, analyzing costs and schedules, and supporting project reviews and forecasts.
Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare data for evaluation
- Maintain and update project budgets, estimates to complete, commitments, expenditures, and project progress
- Analyze and forecast project costs and schedules
- Review expenditure details, identify and correct incorrect charges
- Aid in project coordination from feasibility through final plan preparation
- Support project pricing and document production
- Create and distribute technical and administrative reports
- Perform risk analysis and recommend contingency usage
- Support Project Managers during monthly Project Reviews (PRs)
- Contribute to quarterly project forecasts
- Provide support to Project Controls staff members
- Audit and ensure compliance with change management systems and processes
- Identify and address potential project issues, develop recovery plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cost Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Finance
- Three to five years of experience in Project Controls or Project Accountant roles
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivation and productivity without direct supervision
- Effective oral and written communication skills

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 to $100,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
This role is available on a Hybrid model, requiring two days per week at an assigned Jacobs office nearest you.
