Our company is based in Greenville, SC, with projects ranging from $20,000 to $50 million and an average workforce of 100+ field employees. Responsibilities

• Oversee project controls functions including cost control, scheduling, and reporting
• Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard tools
• Monitor project progress and performance against established baselines
• Prepare and analyze cost forecasts, budgets, and earned value reports
• Coordinate with project management, field supervision, and client representatives
• Identify and communicate project risks and opportunities
• Ensure accurate and timely project documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Controls Manager or similar role in industrial construction
• Strong knowledge of scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
• Proficiency in cost management and forecasting techniques
• Understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in project controls within the industrial or heavy civil construction sector
• Experience on projects of similar scale ($20,000 to $50 million) is highly desirable
