Project Controls FLNG Lead Planner

About the role

The Project Controls FLNG Lead Planner position oversees a Manager/Specialist position within Project Controls. This role may have supervisory responsibilities over a group of project controls personnel and is responsible for overall performance management. The position may also be responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Manages a diverse team of professionals and achieves successful results.
• Leads planning and schedule preparation on more complex projects including startup planning.
• Addresses contractual requirements related to schedule control.
• Expert in scheduling forensics as required by the business unit.
• Serves as an integral part of the management team for project success.
• Collaborates with the project management leadership team to ensure project success.
• Identifies improvements to processes.
• Leads in developing staff capabilities.
• Recognized as an expert in a project controls specialist area.
• Develops tools, systems & processes to optimize effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor's degree with ten or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR twelve years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.
• Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Experience serving in a Leadership role for a medium- to large-sized EPC project in both Home Office and Field preferred.
• Certificate from either PMI or AACE preferred.
