Project Controls Engineer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Strong expertise in earned value management (EVM) and change control processes to support complex, high-visibility ND projects.
• Responsible for helping to ensure EVM and change control processes are performed efficiently and accurately.
• Implement and manage EVM processes to track project performance against scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
• Collaborate with chief scheduling team, project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate schedule data and support risk mitigation strategies.
• Generate and present schedule and earned value reports to leadership and project teams.
• Identify impactful schedule and cost variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain project alignment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling and project controls methodologies.

Education and Licensure

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business, and/or related field.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in project scheduling with earned value management and change control; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with P6 scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of earned value management principles and application.
• Experience managing schedule change control processes in complex projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to analyze complex data and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & LOCATION DETAILS

• Active DOE Q Clearance.
• Albuquerque, New Mexico – onsite position.
• Period of performance – 6/2026 to 6/2029.
