Project Controls

About the role

We are seeking a Project Controls professional to support the documentation and reporting aspects of our engineering projects. As part of our team, you’ll work with passionate and forward-thinking experts at one of the largest engineering and system integration firms in the United States, delivering IT automation and control solutions across Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Metals & Mining, Warehousing & Distribution, and CPG/Food & Beverage industries.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers to monitor project budgets, forecasts, and actual costs.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate project planning and reporting.
• Interact with customers and vendor personnel to assure project progress meets customer requirements.
• Track project milestones, timelines, deliverables, and associated costs.
• Prepare invoices, verify details for accuracy, and deliver to the customer.
• Identify and flag variances in project budgets and schedules.
• Support risk and opportunity analysis related to project financials.
• Follow and coordinate established or informal standard operating procedures and guidelines for the Mission Critical business team.
• Support development of project estimates to verify accuracy and maintain data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Business or technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience in a project engineering or services environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/project management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and management.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Travel Expectations

25-30% travel required.

Pay

$90,000–$120,000 per year.
