About the role

Establishes systems analyses methodology and documentation standards, providing guidance to lower-level staff. Leads cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues. Analyzes, refines, and documents complex system user requirements including functional objectives of the system, data sources and availability, report requirements, and cross-system integration requirements. Provides consultation to users in the area of automated systems. Projects are typically mid-to-large scale with development/implementation requiring 6+ months to complete. Note: Duties are focused on system requirements analysis; this is not a programming/development job.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains program cost, staffing, performance, and financial-control data and converts it into actionable management information.
  • Supports forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and business-process analysis to improve execution decisions.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance (must have clearance to start).
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Typically has a Bachelor’s degree and 6–8 years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience (each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required).
