Project Control Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Civil Designer with a passion for Rail/Transit & Construction Engineering to join our supportive and collaborative team in the Baltimore office. This position offers the chance to work on diverse transportation projects and develop your skills alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate engineering drawings, details, calculations, and work plans for rail and transit projects
• Coordinate with construction team leads to monitor project controls, support field & inspection activities, and develop GIS maps
• Determine needs and logistics for materials and equipment handling, storage, and staging
• Research rail and transit information to support internal reviews
• Analyze procurement needs and track status of critical activities within project controls teams

Requirements

• Associates in Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology
• 0-5 years of Engineering experience
• Passion for transportation engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent Math skills

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, GIS, Power BI, and Power Automate software
• Previous internship experience in the transportation field

Pay

Hourly Rate: $38/hr.
