Project Control Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a Project Control Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will support the discipline of project controls across large capital construction programs, with a focus on cost, schedule, forecasting, and executive reporting. The ideal candidate will partner closely with finance and leadership teams to translate project performance into clear insights that guide decision-making. You will also help maintain strong controls around contingency management, trend tracking, and variance analysis to support effective program execution. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $103,500 – $181,100 annually Responsibilities Administer project controls systems and processes Analyze cost and schedule variances Collaborate with financial teams to ensure accurate forecasting Prepare standardized project controls reports Present project controls reports to leadership Maintain contingency drawdown logs and performance trend logs Evaluate contingency adequacy against risks and trends Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 10+ years of project controls experience on large capital construction programs Strong knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis Experience developing executive-level dashboards and detailed analysis Proficiency in Excel and project controls systems Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) retirement plan Flexible work schedules Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
