For our client, a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Project Control Manager Principal to drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. This role works across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track in a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support for scheduling on projects and proposals
- Manage a team of project control managers and scheduling experts
- Update scheduling policies and procedures as necessary
- Coordinate staffing, assign project activities, and provide training
- Conduct performance reviews and facilitate personnel development
- Customize project control systems to meet project needs
- Engage in business development by supporting proposal efforts and presentations
- Lead scheduling initiatives for the Federal GBU and share best practices
- Manage LoadSpring access and P6 license allocations
- Build relationships with other project control managers and HR for staffing needs
- Travel frequently to meet client or proposal demands
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding qualified team members
- Mobilize resources from various departments to form effective project teams
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 20+ years of relevant experience with several in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
- Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or similar fields
- Proficient in Project Controls Software, especially Primavera P6, MS Project, and Acumen Fuse
- Ideally certified in relevant disciplines (e.g., AACE PSP, PMI-SP)
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms
Pay
$103,500 – $181,100 annually
