For our client, a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a Project Control Manager Principal to drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. This role works across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track in a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support for scheduling on projects and proposals
  • Manage a team of project control managers and scheduling experts
  • Update scheduling policies and procedures as necessary
  • Coordinate staffing, assign project activities, and provide training
  • Conduct performance reviews and facilitate personnel development
  • Customize project control systems to meet project needs
  • Engage in business development by supporting proposal efforts and presentations
  • Lead scheduling initiatives for the Federal GBU and share best practices
  • Manage LoadSpring access and P6 license allocations
  • Build relationships with other project control managers and HR for staffing needs
  • Travel frequently to meet client or proposal demands
  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding qualified team members
  • Mobilize resources from various departments to form effective project teams

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 20+ years of relevant experience with several in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
  • Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or similar fields
  • Proficient in Project Controls Software, especially Primavera P6, MS Project, and Acumen Fuse
  • Ideally certified in relevant disciplines (e.g., AACE PSP, PMI-SP)
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms

Pay

$103,500 – $181,100 annually
