Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily workflow within the Design Services department
- Review and process design requests, entering work into the design department’s work queue
- Process billing for design work
- Provide customer service, pricing/preparing quotes, and technical know-how for customers to help enter and facilitate design projects
- Evaluate the technical requirements of artwork coming into the department
- Analyze and process internal reports for daily team workload, personal production sheets, and external reports
- Enforce policy for images usage, fonts, and stock photos
- Troubleshoot artwork issues, including: DPI, color mode, fonts, sizing, layout, and image quality
- Process basic artwork requests in Adobe suite of software programs
- Understand and direct customers on internal manufacturing and vendor print restrictions and requirements
- Interact with customers using a sales consultant mindset and make recommendations that “upsell” the design team’s abilities
- Follow up with open orders, incomplete projects, and out-of-date projects
Basic Qualifications
- HS/GED or equivalent with 4 years experience/training in Graphic Design/Printing/Art/Computers
- Demonstrated capability in resolving customer escalations under general supervision using company policies and procedures
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Workfront
- Proficient with systems
- Product knowledge and understanding of customer service policies and procedures
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills
Additional Basic Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
