Project Assistant to the unit Neurodegenerativ (PA2026/2516)
About the role
The Neurodegenerative Research group focuses on defining and understanding biological processes in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases by analyzing large datasets from patients and cognitively unimpaired volunteers using neuroimaging, biomarker measurements, and neuropsychological testing. The group applies sophisticated statistical tools to model processes related to aging and disease, aiming to contribute to the development of new treatments where effective options are still lacking. The Project Assistant will join a multidisciplinary team of neuroscientists, statisticians, biologists, and engineers at the Biomedical Center (BMC) in Lund, working under the leadership of Dr. Jacob Vogel. The group emphasizes a positive, supportive, and inclusive work environment.
