Responsibilities

  • Recap and track Potential Change Orders (PCO's).
  • Price material vouchers.
  • Write up and track all Request for Information (RFI's).
  • Track certified payroll for Rosendin and all subcontractors and fill out all necessary forms the job requires (e.g., HRC forms, OCIP Compliance).
  • Update project schedules on Microsoft Projects or Sure Track.
  • Handle monthly billing (Schedule of Values/Cover sheet).
  • Create and update material flow sheets (e.g., Fixtures and Fire Alarm devices), Subcontract/Change Order logs, and Submittal logs.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors and perform light material ordering.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and ability to read blueprints, materials, and pricing using Biddle Book.
  • Understanding of project management procedures and working knowledge of scheduling software.
  • Computer, filing, and 10-key skills.
  • Attention to detail; strong analytical skills favored.
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills.
  • High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Projects, Suretrack, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Oracle and SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
  • Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 1-2 years' project management support experience, preferably in a construction environment.
  • Experience in the construction industry (can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience).

Working Conditions

  • General work environment: sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
  • Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions (e.g., fluorescent lighting, air conditioning).
  • Noise level is typically low to medium; it can be loud on a job site.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
  • Travel: 0%.
