Responsibilities

  • Advance design, programming, and technical solutions in all design phases.
  • Present options through graphical and other means for team and client consideration.
  • Develop innovative, efficient, and resilient projects aligned with client goals.
  • Document designs with technical details using a range of software including REVIT.
  • Guide rendering exercises; rendering skills are preferred.
  • Participate in and represent Perkins Eastman in owner meetings.
  • Apply knowledge of State & Local building codes, local zoning regulations, and referenced standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior staff.
  • Implement the firm’s BIM vision and standards to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across project processes and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  • Manage Revit models and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) setup, and oversee drawing outputs across all phases.
  • Conduct clash detection and coordinate resolution processes using Navisworks.
  • Lead and participate in BIM coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams.
  • Interface with tools such as Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Visari, and other relevant software.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s global Design & Technology leadership to align on digital strategies, standards, and protocols.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all BIM-related matters.
  • Oversee plugin deployment, software updates, printing, and publishing of drawing sets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree.
  • 8+ years' experience.
  • Experience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with project consultants.
  • Thorough knowledge of State & Local building codes and referenced standards.
  • Able to interpret, generate, communicate, and present design intent and manifest that in phase-appropriate documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, emphasizing collaboration with engineers, owners, and builders in a mutually respectful office environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency with REVIT, MS Word & Excel, Adobe, & Bluebeam is required.
  • Proficiency with Rhino, Navisworks, and REVIT plugins is preferred.
  • CPHD, LEED, and/or WELL accreditations are a plus.
  • Architectural registration is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Newforma, Procore, and/or other construction project management software is required (training available).

Pay

Salary Range: $110k - $125k

PE has a hybrid policy that allows flexibility for employees in managing their working days and hours to cater to their diverse needs.
