Project Architect – Historic Preservation Architecture - Tulsa/Oklahoma City

About the role

GH2 Architects, LLC, a full-service architecture and design firm with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Denver, and Phoenix, seeks a Project Architect to join its Historic Preservation specialty practice team. This position is available at our Tulsa or Oklahoma City locations. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Client relations
• Preparing project proposals
• On-site surveys
• Writing reports
• Cost estimating
• Building research
• Applying best historic preservation practices
• Preparing design development and construction documents in AutoCAD or Revit
• Preparing specifications
• Technical detailing
• Construction administration

Requirements

• 3-5 years of preservation experience
• Strong technical detailing skills related to restoration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to survey and evaluate historic masonry, wood, windows, and roof systems
