Project Architect – Historic Preservation

With over five decades of award-winning experience, our team helps clients protect the architectural and cultural integrity of their buildings while adapting them for modern needs. We support owners through every phase of the preservation process—from early field assessments to tax credit application assistance to full design and construction documentation.
About the role
This position is available at our Tulsa or Oklahoma City locations. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. As a Project Architect in our Historic Preservation specialty practice, you will have the opportunity to follow projects from conception through construction. Team members participate in a design-oriented practice with colleagues who celebrate exceptional work, client service, and engagement with our professions and communities. They receive supplemental technical and professional education tailored to their interests and professional goals.

- Preparing design development and construction documents in AutoCAD or Revit

Requirements
- 3-5 years of preservation experience
- Strong technical detailing skills related to restoration
- Ability to survey and evaluate historic masonry, wood, windows, and roof systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide guidance on best practices in historic preservation
