Project Analyst Intern

Internship Responsibilities

Aid in data gathering, conducting background research, and creating summaries of findings.

Participate in demographic, economic, fiscal, and real estate research, including interviews and site visits.

Organize datasets, identify trends, and assist in building financial or statistical models using GAI methodologies.

Contribute to report, presentation, and visual material preparation that communicates key insights to project teams and clients.

Desired Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Urban Studies, Finance, Real Estate, Public Policy, Political Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office; familiarity or interest in ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Interest in developing analytical skills using tools such as Power BI or Power Query.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and passion for research, analysis, and problem-solving.

Additional Considerations

• Experience or coursework in public finance, budgeting, or economic development is a plus.
• Applicants should provide a portfolio of academic or professional writing and/or data organization examples.
