Primary Responsibilities
- Pull and analyze data contained on engineering referral and procurement referral workload reports to determine correctness.
- Manipulate MS Excel files to present data in a coherent, orderly fashion using basic Excel functions like changing font, cell color, inserting rows/columns, removing decimals, etc.
- Merge reports using MS Excel and perform basic calculations using functions like SUM or AVERAGE.
- Pull technical data packages (files) in support of Engineering Referrals, Engineering Support Requests, and Technical Referrals.
- Understand and manage the serialization and cataloguing process for file management.
- Distribute these data files to technical engineers for processing.
- Aid in the development of project management documentation.
- Collect and coordinate information for executive level briefings.
- Support the development and analysis of project plans, processes, and performance metrics.
- Aid in planning, coordinating, conducting, and recording project management meetings.
- Aid in project monitoring and control efforts, including critical path management and plans of action and milestones.
- Manage document files and provide technical recommendations for program documentation in accordance with DoD 5000.1, DoD 5000.2, and SECNAV 5000.2.
- Provide administrative support for Audit Management, Document Maintenance, etc., and perform administrative/technical support as directed.
- Apply skills and knowledge in data management, document control, computer support, project control, and related areas to individual and team efforts.
Position Requirements
- US Citizen.
- Secret Security Clearance (Preferred).
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One-year experience as an Administrative Assistant with experience in MS Office and Excel (Preferred).
- Personal computer literate with knowledge of email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Experience with common office equipment, e.g., fax machines, copiers, projectors, and PC printers.
