Project Analyst 1-PJAI - CC

Pike Electric is seeking a Project Analyst to join their Operations team. The role offers visibility and interaction with management, including Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents in Finance and Operations. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager of Data Analytics with enhancing and refining the existing reporting portfolio to optimize current reports, decrease information redundancy, and increase efficiency of report delivery.
• Gather, manage, and report on a variety of data populations to assist in preparing and presenting accurate and meaningful findings to multiple groups within the organization.
• Partner with and support the project management team during financial month-end close process, including accrual calculations, job costing, and budget variance analysis.
• Manage models for reporting operational KPIs and information flow into monthly performance reports.
• Perform frequent ad hoc requests and special projects analyses to support various internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the development, analysis, and management of bid pricing and forecasting models.
• Participate in the annual budget development process by collaborating with the Finance and Operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
• Background in financial analysis and forecasting and/or data modeling is desired.
• Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines, and targets.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
