About the role
The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the budgeting process and monitor expenditures against budgets.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Trello is a plus.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
