You must have a keen attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.

Responsibilities

  • Project cost accounting (assist with project setup, verification, and reports)
  • Ensure invoicing requirements are met by deadlines
  • Help project managers achieve financially successful projects
  • Support project audits
  • Review and enter subconsultant invoices
  • Analyze and report accounts receivable status and collection
  • Assist team with process improvements
  • Other accounting related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office, 10-key by touch
  • Thorough understanding of general ledger accounting practices
  • Outstanding attention to detail, proactive follow-up
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Professional appearance, written and verbal skills
  • Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as independently
  • Anxious to learn and to help others
  • Proactively seeks to improve processes and increase efficiency
  • Reliable, self-motivated, positive attitude
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience)
  • 1-5 years of related work experience; engineering, construction, or architectural experience is highly preferred
  • Preference given to those with Deltek software experience, especially Vantagepoint

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
