Role Overview
Provides direct patient care within a specialized tele-unit, focusing on cardiac and pulmonary patients in a high-performing hospital environment. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, emphasizing patient safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
- Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and professional development.
- Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, communicating effectively across care teams.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing, RN license.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
