Progressive Care Unit - Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a specialized tele unit with a mix of medical specialties, primarily focusing on cardiac and pulmonary patients. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care following nursing standards.Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in professional development.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma; Bachelor's preferred.RN licensure required.No prior experience necessary; two years of experience preferred.Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety consciousness.
