Progressive Care RN

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to acutely ill patients in the progressive care unit.
• Monitor complex cardiac and telemetry patients, ensuring patient stability.
• Administer IV medications and treatments accurately.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Support patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives to improve care outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license.
• Experience with cardiac and telemetry patient care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to respond efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
