About the role

The Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse, functioning under their direction and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene
• Assist with elimination and toileting needs
• Support nutrition through feeding and hydration
• Assist with ambulation and positioning
• Perform regular patient rounds on the nursing unit
• Support patient safety and satisfaction
• Effectively communicate with all team members
