Full-Time Progressive Care Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to moderately to critically ill patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor telemetry and vital signs.
• Administer medications and IV therapies, responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.
• Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR).

Qualifications and Skills

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Experience in progressive care or step-down units preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
