About the role
Responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act in a progressive care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient needs
- Administer medications
- Monitor vital signs
- Perform wound care
- Communicate patient conditions
- Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
Leadership
- Act as acting charge nurse to oversee daily operations
- Assign staff based on patient acuity
- Serve as a clinical resource
- Ensure quality care delivery
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS within 6 months
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience preferred
