Programs Manager III (R&D)

Job Summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is seeking a Program Manager III/II to join our engineering team in Bothell, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and manufacturing development, with experience in writing proposals and leading complex projects.

Impact of the Role

The Program Manager III/II will have P&L responsibilities for a specific program, implementing and administering corporate programs, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and external regulations. They will also evaluate program effectiveness and provide regular reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Critical professional related technical skills
• Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience in writing proposals and leading engineering/manufacturing development programs
• Earned value management (EVM) cost accounting principles
• Working experience with creating and maintaining integrated master schedules
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills, ability to build collaborative relationships, detail orientation, meeting deadlines, project management skills

Pay Range

$125,000 - $167,000
