Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall project definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans.
- Responsible for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach.
- Defines and negotiates with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources.
- Establishes and controls technical milestones and costs.
- Oversees projects to ensure that activities are executed in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborates with interdepartmental functions to minimize delays.
- Mets with project team members on a regular basis to review program status and plan future actions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems or Business.
- Experience: 15 years of experience, including at least eight (8) years of Program Management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and N6523625R3001 Attachment 19 procedures.
- Experience: Five (5) years as manager of In-Service-Engineering-Agent (ISEA) type support for maritime PNT systems or similar systems.
