About the role
Senior Living Residences Marlboro is seeking a patient, innovative programmer who is creative, friendly, compassionate, and organized to assist the Program Director in creating, scheduling, and implementing therapeutic programs for our memory care residents. Our programming team members provide therapeutic opportunities and meaningful engagement for our senior residents in a safe, home-like, and fun work environment.
Senior Living Residences Marlboro is located at 52 County Route 520, Morganville, NJ.
Schedule
Full Time: Wednesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay
Rates start at $16.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Form meaningful relationships with residents and families
- Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily therapeutic programming schedule for 7 days per week
- Support coordination of entertainment, including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors
- Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site
- Assist with support group and educational sessions for families and staff
- Support development of monthly newsletter, take photos, and update social media
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations
- Physical requirements: standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
- Strong communication skills with residents and co-workers
- Punctuality and reliability – residents rely on associates for daily living activities
