Programmatic Success Manager
About the role
The Programmatic Success Manager role at Scripps is responsible for driving revenue and innovation through strategic management of programmatic advertising campaigns across digital and connected-TV inventory.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute the planning, trafficking, and monitoring of programmatic campaigns across all digital platforms, ensuring KPIs are met
- Independently perform campaign optimizations to maximize yield and advertiser outcomes, troubleshooting and resolving complex delivery issues
- Oversee the completion of projects and assignments, such as implementing new PMP strategies, testing new partners, and developing improved reporting workflows
- Identify key barriers in campaign performance or operational efficiency and implement effective solutions
- Develop and maintain sophisticated campaign and inventory performance reports; translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for sales and ad ops teams
- Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional teams, providing guidance on programmatic capabilities, inventory, and campaign strategy
- Validate the quality and integrity of campaigns, ensuring compliance with brand safety, viewability, and privacy standards (GDPR/CCPA)
- Provide input and recommendations for new tools or partners to enhance monetization, based on deep knowledge of ad tech trends
- Act as a resource or mentor for junior team members, reviewing progress and accuracy of their work
- Participate in client-facing communications to discuss campaign performance and programmatic strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
- Generally, 5+ years of experience in related field preferred
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of SSPs, ad servers, DMPs, and DSPs, with hands-on experience managing complex programmatic campaigns (CTV/OTT experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel and strong familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and perform advanced data analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for various audiences
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment to determine the best approach for achieving desired outcomes
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee assignments from planning to completion
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Pay
Annual Salary: $95,000.00 - 105,000
