About the role

Amazon Ads is seeking a Programmatic Solutions Consultant to support customers using our demand-side platform, Amazon DSP. In this customer-facing role, you will manage the end-to-end experience of enterprise customers, known as programmatic trading desks, and drive success by developing their expertise in programmatic advertising. You will work closely with programmatic traders at agencies and advertisers, as well as internal Amazon Ads teams, to address customer needs and help them meet their business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with programmatic trading desk managers, engaging with multiple customer organizational levels to understand business objectives.
  • Provide services such as onboarding, trade desk support plans, feature training, continuous product usage consultation, and industry best practices.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify improvement areas, root causes, and formulate enablement and adoption recommendations.
  • Drive the evolution of Amazon DSP by assisting customers with product beta participation, capturing feedback, and collaborating with cross-functional Amazon teams (Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, and Specialists).
  • Define and improve processes and tools for the Programmatic Solutions Consultant team to better serve customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers become proficient users of Amazon DSP and see it as their preferred tool for achieving goals.
  • Advocate for customers in internal forums, provide troubleshooting support, and simplify and propagate customer feedback to inform product and service design.

A day in the life

A typical engagement may include onboarding new traders, delivering trainings on new product features, assisting with beta features, consulting on business strategy and planning, providing oversight in campaign execution, developing optimization recommendations, monitoring impact, and conducting deep dives to determine root causes of issues. You will passionately address customer objectives using Amazon’s services and engagement best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles.
  • 4+ years of experience in programmatic advertising in a consultative role, providing hands-on customer service.
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
  • Experience with annual brand and media planning.
  • Technical and operational experience with programmatic advertising technologies (DSP, RTB, bid shading, machine learning optimization, ad verification, ad tracking, ad attribution, bidding engines, second-price vs first-price auctions, pixel and tag managers, cookies, viewability, etc.).
  • Experience owning relationships with programmatic decision-makers.
  • Ability to present confidently to B2B customers, including facilitating onboarding, training, and presenting plans to leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce or online advertising.
  • Experience in omni-channel marketing, search engine marketing, or search engine optimization.
  • Experience in digital analytics and/or DMP, CDP.
  • Vertical specialization (e.g., entertainment, automotive) within programmatic advertising.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills with the ability to establish credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

Pay

Base salary range: $75,200 - $131,600 USD annually. Final compensation will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
