Responsibilities
- Engaging participants in group activities
- Implementing group activities
- Supervise the program transportation of individuals to/from the program in the morning and afternoon
- Communicate with supervisor as well as parents & community liaison
- Foster positive relationships between individuals served and the community
- Ensures the safety of participants during programs
- Encourages independence
Job Requirements
- A desire to work with adults with disabilities
- Ability to provide positive motivation to others
- Caring, dedicated, responsible, and patient
- Willingness to take public transportation
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including walking for periods
Salary
$35 an hour
