About the Role

American Rheinmetall is seeking a Program Coordinator to partner with Program/Project Managers in creating and supporting programs by gathering and integrating project data. The role involves directing and coordinating engineering projects and production programs, ensuring alignment with internal processes and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with internal and external customer representatives and support contracts, attending meetings for project and procurement status.
  • Record and prepare meeting minutes/action items, maintaining action item lists for each project.
  • Provide management with analytical data derived from reports related to task progression and participate in program and project reviews.
  • Review engineering drawings for accuracy and develop parts lists for procurements.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update spreadsheets for tracking material purchases.
  • Assist in preparing reports and submissions to internal and external customers.
  • Support proposal preparation by gathering, integrating, and analyzing cost and schedule data.
  • Track prototype and/or production status of components associated with respective projects.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to the company’s internal processes.
  • Develop and track project schedules using MS Project or similar tools, ensuring schedules are met and identifying conflicts.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, project support, or related functions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or relevant program management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and follow established processes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential information appropriately.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: MS Project and PowerPoint knowledge and experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with financial support, developing, tracking, reporting spend plans, and project/task budgets.

Background Prerequisites

  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain suitability requirements for access to classified information.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
