Program Supervisor

Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132-bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high-quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders for adults and patients as young as age five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment for adults, as well as residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. These programs help adults, children, and teens learn the necessary skills to regain confidence, heal, and successfully function at home, work, school, and in their communities.

About the Role

The Skills Development Supervisor oversees the Skills/Rec therapy department, ensuring the team is trained and empowered to deliver services to acute and residential patients while serving as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team. The Supervisor develops and coordinates unit schedules, monitors group activities to meet regulatory requirements through supervision, training, and data collection/assessment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Skills/Rec therapy department and team.
• Develop and coordinate unit schedules.
• Ensure all groups occur as required by regulatory standards through supervision, training, and data collection.
• Serve as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, education, criminal justice, or another social service or therapeutic discipline.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist.
• Three to five years of related work experience, with knowledge of psychiatric and/or substance use disorder patient care techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional weekends for special events).
