About the role
Cedar Hills Hospital is seeking a master’s-level Program Supervisor to support the Outpatient team. This role involves working with substance use disorder clients, dual diagnosis clients, mental health clients, and specialty groups including behavioral pain patients, impaired professionals, patients with trauma, and occasional military clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial treatment planning and assessments
- Run group therapy sessions as needed
- Support patient chart audits
- Provide case management and discharge planning for an assigned caseload
- Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions as needed
- Attend all staff meetings, including weekly treatment team meetings
- Coordinate patient care activities in alignment with established standards, policies, and objectives
- Contribute to the hospital’s philosophy, educational efforts, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance to administrative staff and Program Therapists
- Oversee physician schedules and patient compliance
- Manage day-to-day clinical and administrative operations
- Perform crisis intervention and other duties as assigned by the Director of Outpatient Services
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or equivalent (required)
- Licensure preferred, but not required
- 3 years of related experience (preferred)
- 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred)
