About the role

The Program Supervisor will oversee the operations of the Terros Health - Community Living Program/Flexcare Program location, providing clinical therapeutic services to adults with substance-use disorders, serious mental illness, dual diagnoses, or referred individuals. Reporting to Program leadership, this position ensures the effective functioning of the program, aligning services with client needs and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Directs program functions and implements standards, policies, and procedures
  • Revises services based on client needs and program contractual requirements
  • Develops and implements site-specific plans supporting Terros Health's strategic plan
  • Develops program goals and objectives, defines and recommends objectives to direct reports
  • Collaborates with other organization components and external agencies to coordinate client services
  • Fosters strong community relations and maintains productive working relationships
  • Collects and maintains quality improvement data and program performance measurements
  • Generates and maintains medical, organizational, and program records including conducting preliminary and follow-up audits
  • Selects and maintains qualified employees in all assigned program positions
  • Provides orientation and on-the-job training for direct reports
  • Ensures that the duties, responsibilities, authority, accountability, and performance standards of all direct reports are defined and understood
  • Identifies training needs, initiates development of direct reports, proactively manages performance, and conducts performance reviews as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral health field or a combination of education and full-time relevant experience in a behavioral health setting totaling two years
  • A non-behavioral health field bachelor’s degree and a combination of coursework in a field related to behavioral health and full-time relevant experience in a behavioral health setting totaling four years
  • A high school diploma/GED and a combination of post-high school education in a field related to behavioral health and full-time relevant experience in a behavioral health setting totaling six years
  • One year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or application for one within 7 working days of employment
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license, 21 years of age, and minimum 4 years driving experience meeting Terros Health’s driving policy
  • Minimum 1 year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol
  • Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
  • Pass background check, TB test, and other pre-employment screening

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral health field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years of full-time relevant experience in a behavioral health setting
  • Four years of full-time relevant experience in a behavioral health setting
  • Six years of post-secondary education in a field related to behavioral health and full-time relevant experience
  • One year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1)
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license, 21 years of age, and minimum 4 years driving experience
  • Minimum 1 year recovery from drugs and/or alcohol
  • Minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
  • Pass background check, TB test, and other pre-employment screening

Skills

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills

  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and rehabilitation practices
