Program Supervisor
Description
Description Concern Housing is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential program, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and providing supervision and training to staff.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in the supervision and coordination of all direct care services.
- Supervise and train assigned staff, as well as conduct on-site training and supervision of all program staff.
- Maintain compliance with all program requirements and regulatory guidelines regarding client care, safety, and service delivery.
- Review and ensure completeness of closed-out client charts upon discharge.
- Act as a liaison with other service providers and community agencies.
- Coordinate staff schedules, including per diem staff, and organize house meetings.
- Assist in conducting periodic staff evaluations and participate in hiring and dismissing staff.
- Participate in weekly supervision meetings with the Program Director.
- Assist the Program Director with maintaining program occupancy rates, including intake processes, documentation collection, and the admission process.
- Comply with NYSOMH, LIHTC, and AHP regulations, as well as other regulatory requirements.
- Perform weekly supervision with staff, including client reviews and ongoing chart reviews.
- Maintain timeliness of paperwork submissions and qualitative review of progress notes, services plans, reviews, functional assessments, and other required documentation.
- Fulfill responsibilities of Service Coordinator as assigned and needed during staffing turnovers.
- Collaborate with the Property Department regarding site maintenance.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in Concern’s personnel manual.
- Provide crisis intervention and on-call responsibilities as needed.
- Stay current with all agency-required compliance documents and trainings.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar setting and/or working with people with mental illnesses.
- Good leadership and supervisory skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to make sound judgments regarding client care.

Position Requirements
We offer a competitive salary of $68,000 annually.
