About the role
The El Dorado County Office of Education seeks Program Specialists to support Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in the Supporting Innovative Practices Grant (SIP) to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support LEAs in providing quality services and programs to students with disabilities.
- Facilitate collaboration among schools, districts, charter schools, and local, regional, and statewide partners.
- Travel to different regions of the State, including trips that involve multiple overnight stays.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in an educational setting in programs that may include special education or general education.
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Valid Special Education Credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential or California Administrative Services Credential or Master’s Degree in education or related field with a valid California credential.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
Benefits
This position is funded through the SIP Grant, which is currently authorized through 2033.
Pay
$119,303 - $145,012 Annually
Schedule
8 Hours/Day, 5 Days/Weeks, 210 Days/Year, and 12 Months/Year
