Program Specialist II (12-Month) Student Information Systems
Responsibilities
- Providing on-site training, email and phone support to district and building employees including administrators, teachers, and clerical staff on the use of student information systems.
- These information systems include PowerSchool, SchoolTool, Infinite Campus, and eSchool.
- Assisting districts with developing student schedules, troubleshooting grading, transcript calculations, and development of training materials.
- Providing 1:1 or group professional development to district staff and assist districts with state reporting rules, regulations, and data verification.
- Researching issues related to student data, analyzing data extracts, and other duties related to student information systems.
Requirements
- New York State Education Department (NYSED) Certification: Teaching Certification
- NYSED Certification: School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL) optional
- Knowledge of PowerSchool, SchoolTool, Infinite Campus, or eSchoolData (training will be provided)
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Pay
SALARY: As per labor contract
