About the role

The Employment Development Department (EDD) seeks a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the Contact Center Solutions Group. This position offers the opportunity to develop virtual contact center and Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) solutions, implement new technologies like Chatbots and Artificial Intelligence, and manage complex telecommunications systems and enterprise distributed computing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer the Group's strategic and operational direction in accordance with EDD goals.
  • Manage and support complex telecommunications systems and enterprise distributed computing environment.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with customers and vendors to ensure the Production Services Division (PSD) services meet customer needs.
  • Develop effective strategies for accomplishing the Group's objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and administering complex telecommunications systems and enterprise distributed computing environments.
  • Knowledge of virtual contact center and Interactive Voice Recognition (IVR) solutions.
  • Ability to implement new technologies such as Chatbots and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with developing and administering complex telecommunications systems and enterprise distributed computing environments.
  • Experience implementing new technologies such as Chatbots and Artificial Intelligence.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Pay
