Program Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

The Program Specialist is based in Marshalltown, IA and is responsible for driving the day-to-day execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and compliance with all required steps. The role collaborates closely with the Project Manager to achieve project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in partnership with the Project Manager
• Maintain timelines, deliverables, and project milestones to ensure on-time completion
• Facilitate internal cadence meetings to track progress and address risks
• Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders
• Prepare and submit Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) as required
• Track project requirements, documentation, and submittals for completeness and accuracy
• Monitor order progress and support change order processes
• Identify and escalate issues early to minimize delays
• Support milestone-based billing processes accurately and on time
• Engage manufacturing plants on deliverables and schedules, scheduling inspections and arranging final shipment of product

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in project management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
• A minimum of 2 years of related project management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer or site meetings
